Free CATProduct viewer: open CATIA assemblies without CATIA
PartLens opens CATIA V5 .CATProduct assemblies for free on Android and Windows, offline, with no CATIA licence. It places every part, sub-assemblies included, and names each one as CATIA's tree does. On a phone it asks once for the folder holding the parts.
A .CATProduct file holds no shapes of its own. It is a list: which .CATPart files the assembly uses, and where each one sits. So opening one means finding its parts as well, and that is where most free viewers stop.
How PartLens finds the parts
- On Windows, keep the .CATPart files beside the .CATProduct (sub-folders are searched too) and open the assembly.
- On Android, open the .CATProduct and, when PartLens asks, pick the folder that holds its parts. Android remembers the folder, so the next assembly from it opens straight away. A .zip of the assembly folder works too.
- A missing part is named, never silently left out.

- Measure, section, isolate and hide like any other assembly. Bores, planes and tapers are fitted to the points CATIA saved, so diameters and hole charts read like a STEP export's; results are still marked approximate (≈).
Open a CATProduct
- Get PartLens free from Google Play or as a Windows download.
